Travel Terms & Conditions

1. Deposit and Final Payment

Deposit & Confirmation

• Standard Booking: A 30% deposit of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. The exact amount may be adjusted by the tour manager based on itinerary, trip category, and duration.

• Group Booking (15+ people): A 40% deposit is required to confirm the reservation.

Final Balance Payment

• Standard Booking: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to departure, or may be paid in cash upon arrival with prior agreement.

• Group Booking (15+ people): The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days prior to departure.

2. Payment Methods & Policy

Bank / Wire Transfer

• All bank commission and transfer fees must be covered by the client.

• An official invoice will be issued upon receipt of payment.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to:
  Uyanga@mongolianstar-adventures.com

• Refunds are calculated based on the date we receive the cancellation request.

Refund Schedule

• 45 days or more before departure:
  Full refund minus:

  • Domestic flight cancellation fee (one way $30 / return $50)

  • 15% service & administration fee

  • Any other applicable fees (accommodation bookings, bank charges, etc.)

• 44–30 days before departure:
  70% refund of the total package price

• 29–15 days before departure:
  50% refund of the total package price

• 14–0 days before departure:
  20% refund of the total package price

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

4. Special Requests

Please inform us at the time of booking of any special requirements (dietary needs, mobility assistance, room preferences, etc.). We will do our best to accommodate them but cannot guarantee fulfillment.

5. Health & Fitness to Travel

• Clients must disclose any medical, physical, or mental conditions that may require assistance during the trip.

• Mongolian Star Adventures reserves the right to decline participation if a traveler’s condition may affect the safety or enjoyment of others.

6. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in the tour price and is strongly recommended for all travelers.

7. Children Discount Policy

•  

  • Infants aged 0–2 years travel free of charge

  • Children aged 3–10 years receive a 20% reduction when sharing a room with two adults with an extra bed

  • Children aged 3–10 years receive a 40% reduction when sharing a room with two adults without an extra bed

  • Children aged 3–10 years do not receive a reduction when staying in the same room with one adult only

  • Children aged 11 years and above are considered adults and do not qualify for any reduction

8. Liability & Responsibility

• Travelers are responsible for their own actions and safety during the tour.

• Mongolian Star Adventures LLC is not liable for loss, injury, delay, or damage caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political situations, flight delays, or supplier failures.

Third-Party Suppliers
We act as an agent for accommodation, transport, and other service providers and are not responsible for changes or withdrawal of their services.

Booking Errors
We reserve the right to refuse or amend bookings if prices or information are displayed in error.

Limitation of Liability
Under any circumstances, our liability is limited to the amount paid by the client.

9. Legal Terms

All terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Mongolia and any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Mongolia.
